As a four-season tourist destination, the Town of Windham 's calendar of special events is full throughout the year. To everything there is a season, and Windham 's special events are attuned to those seasons, from ski and snowboard races in the winter to a traditional Independence Day parade and fireworks, to a harvest festival every autumn.

Fireworks light the night sky on July 4 th and reflect brilliant colors off the fresh-fallen snow on New Year's Eve. Crafts fairs and flea markets offer under-priced treasures and one-of-a-kind finds. The holiday season brings tree-trimming parties and tree-lighting ceremonies. Archery exhibitions, Civil War campfire music, mountain biking races, the Chamber Music Festival, the Greek Festival, and the annual Autumn A-Fair-a town-wide celebration of the harvest season and the peak of fall foliage-help round out an exciting and diverse calendar of events.

The Windham Police Benevolent Fund presents a night of "Music & Dance" along with a "Holiday Toy Drive". Hosted by Windham Mountain from 6:00pm - 11:00pm.

Admission : Please bring a child's new unwrapped toy or give a donation to the Police Benevolent Fund.

Hensonville Tree Lighting, Santa Claus, Carolers, Hot Chocolate, winners announced for decorating contest, all sponsored by the Hensonville Beautification Committee. All to take place at the Village Green in Hensonville, intersection of State Route 296 and County Route 65 starting at 6:00pm.
