The Town of Windham Public Library is a true community center, as well as being the gateway to research facilities that stretch far beyond the boundaries of the town. The library welcomes all ages, offering story time and special computer programs for children, internet access for high school and adult researchers, workshops and learning programs, meeting facilities plus, of course, stacks of books, magazines, newspapers, videos, DVDs, and CDs to browse through. The Windham Public Library is a member of the Mid-Hudson Library System, so its permanent collection is augmented by hundreds of thousands of library materials that are available to borrow from dozens of public libraries throughout the mid-Hudson Valley.
